Job Description

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students Are you skilled in managing and supporting behaviour in a Secondary School setting Tradewind Recruitment is working with a "good" Secondary School in a nice area of Haringey, NorthLondon, which is seeking a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join the team. If you have the expertise to promote positive behaviour and create a supportive learning environment, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support the schools behaviour management policies.
  • Work closely with students to understand and address challenging behaviour.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group mentorship to promote positive social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to create tailored plans to improve behaviour.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance the overall school environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of behaviour incidents and interventions using SIMS.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Behaviour Management TA or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and engage them in the learning process.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to addressing challenging behaviour.
  • Familiarity with the UK educational system is advantageous.
