Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in Islington, supporting students in a reception class. This is a full-time position Monday - Friday 8:30pm - 4:00pm.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within the Reception class.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to implement individualized learning plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Assist with the development of social and academic skills for SEND students.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, caregivers, and other staff members.
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Reception class.
  • Knowledge and understanding of supporting students with SEND.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to the diverse needs of students.
  • Passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
