Job Description

One of Tradewinds biggest clients is now looking to appoint a strong 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to start with them in January 2024. This role would entail support for a student in Reception in the mornings and support for a student in Year 2 in the afternoons.Both children are autistic and need extra support within the classroom. The desired Teaching assistant will have experience working 1:1 with children with autism. Creating fun and engaging ways for the child to learn, being resilient and patient is also akey skill within this role.Key attributes in you:

  • Passion for working with primary aged children
  • Experience working with SEN children (specifically Autism)
  • A caring and nurturing practise
  • Willingness to help and support where needed
  • Take initiative and collaborate with the teacher and parents
