A warm and welcoming school in Haringey is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. The primary school is for children from ages 3 to 11 with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, some of whom also have a diagnosis of ASD. The school prides itself on nurturing a supportive and collaborative environment for all.They are looking for someone who either has experience working in a similar environment or who is quick to learn. They need to be proactive and able to get to know the children so they can best meet their needs, encouraging them to be as independent as possible in all their learning.You will need to be willing to do personal care and support the children positively in all situations.You will need to be able to work well in a team and communicate well with adults and children.
