Job Description

Morgan Hunt are working with a leading national Charity who are looking to recruit a SEN Learning Support Assistant/Job Coach. This is a full time permanent role paying £28,500. The role will be office based 5 days per week in Finchley (North London). Theprimary purpose of this role is to provide support to special needs learners in the classroom with employability coaching to secure job outcomes. A small portion of the roll will also require supporting the learner find work placements. The SEN Learning Support Assistant/Job Coach will be responsible for:

  • Supporting and assisting learners in the classroom
  • Conducting job coaching sessions and employability skills to assist in the workplace
  • Offering pastoral support
  • Collaborating with Tutors to ensure all elements of the programme are completed
  • Engaging with local employers to secure work placement opportunities The SEN Learning Support Assistant/Job Coach will need to:
  • Have experience of working with learners with special educational needs
  • Worked with post 16 learners preferably within an employability setting
  • Be flexible with travel across North London and the surrounding areas
