Job Description

Roofer/multitradeJoin our dynamic team of skilled tradespeople and become a key contributor to our growing construction and roofing company based in Islington, London. If you are a skilled roofer with a range of multitrade abilities, we want to hear from you!Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.£19.96 - £21.96 per hour PAYE.As a Roofer/Multitrade, you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for performing a wide range of roofing and general construction tasks. Your primary focus will be on roofing projects, but your multitrade skills will come in handy for variousaspects of construction work.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Roofing:
    • Install, repair, and maintain various roofing systems including flat, pitched, and tiled roofs.
    • Identify and address roofing issues such as leaks, damaged shingles, and gutter problems.
    • Ensure roofing projects are completed to high-quality standards and in compliance with safety regulations.
  2. Multitrade:
    • Assist with general construction tasks including carpentry, masonry, painting, and basic plumbing.
    • Collaborate with the team to complete projects on time and within budget.
    • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  3. Safety:
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a roofer.
  • Multitrade skills and experience in various aspects of construction.
  • Knowledge of roofing materials, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses (if applicable).
