Job Description

As the Regional Property Services Manager - North London, you will join the newly formed Repairs Team, you will lead and support a team of Building Surveyors in the delivery of repairs, maintenance and property services. Working within one of our regionaloperational teams, and reporting into the Regional Head of Property Services, you will be responsible for the delivery of day-to-day & major repairs, disrepair, voids and empty homes.Client DetailsThe client are a large Housing Association based across London and the South East.DescriptionThe key responsibilities as the Regional Property Services Manager - North London are as follows:

  • Support the Regional Head of Property Services in the management and delivery of all property service-related matters in the region and more specifically in your allocated local area
  • This will include operational customer and stakeholder engagement, escalations and emergency task force initiatives
  • Be a visible and solution focused working alongside customers and colleagues as the operational lead in your local area and promoting the service as trustworthy, collaborative and accountable
  • Input into the strategic development of property services delivery through integration, transformation and beyond
  • Be accountable for the day-to-day management of your area and its employees by setting objectives and targets
  • Reviewing, monitoring and improving the KPIs and activities carried out, ensuring that business objectives are met
  • Support the operational contract administration and management of the supply chain partners in your region, ensuring KPIs are met, VfM achieved, quality delivered and satisfaction improved
You will be measured on:

  • High levels of satisfaction with repairs delivered within your area
  • Value for money in repairs delivered through your area
  • Improved efficiency in the delivery of services

  • Reduction in complaint and escalated case volumes

ProfileThe successful Regional Property Services Manager - North London will need to be:
  • An accomplished property services manager with excellent communication, negotiation and collaboration skills, which generates confidence and respect with a wide variety of audiences
  • Able to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels, to ensure an effective and efficient service for our customers
  • Meticulous, organised and data driven
  • Solution focused, with a drive to improve and transform
  • A collaborative team player, who puts the interests of the organisation and its customer first
  • A customer service champion with the passion and drive for excellent customer service
You will also need:
  • Experience of managing multifunctional teams of technical delivery and customer service skill sets
  • Extensive experience of building surveying and specific experience of building maintenance, preferably within a social housing context
  • In depth knowledge of Schedule of Rates and methods of measurement, with experience in achieving and ensuring Value for Money
  • Experience in managing an extensive, complex and varying caseload, with projects from inception to completion
  • Demonstrable experience and skills managing customer relationships to ensure a high level of customer care and satisfaction
  • Strong approach to teamwork and the ability to collaborate and step-up to help the organisation achieve its mission
  • To be able to travel in and around North London on a regular basis
