Job Description

Location: most Ticketmaster offices in Europe, frequent international travel requiredDivision: Ticketmaster International, ProductsContract Terms: Permanent, 35 - 40 hours per weekTHE JOB Ticketmaster International is currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Product Trainer. The International Product Training team provides regular or on demand webinar- or classroom training for our diverse suite of tools to markets and internal departments across Europe and International. We are a key part of the discovery and implementation phase during new market expansions. Our team supplies training as Ticketmaster?s new, state-of-the-art ticketing products are rolled out or new features are developed.Our responsibilities cover conducting needs analysis, creating training plans, delivering training and producing different types of documentation. You will be responsible for the Ticketmaster products such as tools to manage events and allocations, operational reporting, point of sale applications, etc. You will work closely with product management, project management, support teams and our internal clients (markets) to increase the knowledge and usage of our amazing products. It is in an exciting time in our department as Ticketmaster is continuing to expand to new markets and many new ticketing technologies are currently being developed which will require our training, consultation, documentation and tutorials.You will be part to the team building the e-Learning and interactive training material and video tutorials to increase the catalogue of self-service training material. You will have the opportunity to travel to our Ticketmaster offices to deliver classroom training around Europe as well as working with remote teams to ensure high efficiencies. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • You will deliver product training on product functionality and features.
  • Communicate and introduce new or unused functionality to the markets to improve the knowledge of our internal users.
  • You are responsible for planning, preparing and delivering training of new ticketing products alongside Project Management and Product Management to assist during the rollout and implementation and to speed up the adoption of complex and strategic products and features.
  • Improve ticketing business processes and deliver consulting to your clients and International staff on product usage.
  • Plan, prioritise and deliver training, configuration and consulting during new country expansion in conjunction with Project Management Office.
  • Create storyboards and build videos, tutorials, and other e-Learning material.
  • Produce and update training materials and user documentation such as User Guides, Job Aids and best practices for existing and newly developed products and tools.
  • Develop metrics and provide key performance indicators. Compile reports and present outcome regarding training activity and documentation usage to evaluate efficiency and impact of work.
  • Actively improve training and documentation methods, techniques and processes in collaboration with the team.
  • Become the subject matter expert for specific products and take ownership of internal communication and training needs.
  • WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
  • Proven experience in either a product (software) training role or have detailed knowledge of a ticketing system
  • Be able to develop and implement comprehensive product training programs and methods, both live and online, including analysis and recommendation of new training methods/opportunities.
  • Be able to analyse requirements, design learning objectives and deliver courses in multiple formats.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise documentation and to articulate complex subjects to business users.
  • Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills, fluent in English.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • DESIRABLE
  • Practical experience in product training, preferably in software applications, training design and training needs assessment.
  • Expertise in training delivery, training design and training needs assessment.
  • Experience in creating user documentation such as user guides and how-to documents.
  • Knowledge of the Ticketmaster Microflex System
  • Previous experience in ticketing or entertainment industries, with an understanding of industry terminology and ticketing concepts.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of e-Learning Authoring Tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, Camtasia or others.
  • Expertise in using Learning Management Systems to administer course offerings.
  • Knowledge of analysing processes to implement continuous improvements and best practices.
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint, Confluence, Trello or similar tools.
  • Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Business or another technical discipline.
  • Other European language(s).
