Job Description

We are currently looking for enthusiastic Interns to join our world-class International Project Management Office (International PMO).Our International PMO is an independent function that provides insight, structure and guidance on all aspects of project and portfolio management and has a mission to reduce the energy required to make things happen through transparency, project management (agile and waterfall), coaching, facilitation and process simplification.You will work closely with a highly-experienced team that is spread across the world and help analyse and report on our project portfolio, assist project managers deliver complex projects and run departmental initiatives.You can expect gain skills, abilities and techniques to work effectively in complex project management settings. Interns will also be able to develop a general understanding of the live entertainment and ticketing industry as well as the latest in project management, business and technology practices.PMO Interns will be mentored by seasoned project management experts and can expect to gain on-the-job experience in many aspects of project management.This is a paid, 12-month position. The role is open to placement students (studying as part of their university degree or any other form of qualifications) or recent graduates (Degrees, Master recognised Certification, BTEC, HND, short course)This is a full time paid internship that will be recruited on a 12 month fixed term contract commencing in September 2020.Ticketmaster International:Ticketmaster International, part of Live Nation Entertainment is the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, eCommerce and artist management.   • Maintaining, analysing and tracking the performance of our portfolio as well as preparing project and portfolio reports
  • Supporting the annual strategic planning and budgeting cycle
  • Supporting project managers with the delivery of milestones, objectives and projects
  • Running departmental initiatives
  • Building relationships and working across different departments such as engineering, product, finance and business operations
  • Learning and sharing with the wider Intern community

  • WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
  • A broad understanding of how project management practices are applied in industry; how projects are conceived, planned, controlled, delivered and assessed
  • Awareness of current project management concepts and methodologies such as agile, waterfall, scrum, Kanban and prince2
  • Effective communication (verbal, written and interpersonal) gained through either work or vocational experience
  • Experience using presentation, spreadsheet, word processing, database, internet, email, and any exposure to project management applications would also be beneficial (such as MS Project or Jira)
