Job Description

Lyonsdown is the publisher of teiss which is one of the leading cyber security events portfolio in Europe. We run at least 5 high-level events a year. We also run a member-based website with various types of content for our target market.We are looking to recruit a Marketing Executive to take responsibility for events marketing for the teiss brand, growing the membership base and to develop processes and reporting required to sustain brand growth. If you have a few years experience and are looking to take the next step in your career, this is the perfect opportunity for you.Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for individual event marketing analysis, execution and reporting.
  • Research and find the best channels to market whilst keeping in line with industry trends
  • Source new and relevant data where necessary; ensuring our current database is kept up to date
  • Develop and maintain digital marketing activity to Members to generate additional delegate registration
  • Develop mutually beneficial relations with key influencers in the market including media partners and associations
  • Event marketing budget management
  • Growing traffic to our teiss editorial content website and maintaining an engaging membership offering with the aim of converting members to event attendees.
    • Characteristics:
  • You have a minimum of 2-3 years in a B2B Marketing environment
  • You are data-driven, independent working, analytical marketer who can manage a brand, multiple campaigns and events simultaneously
  • You prize consistency in approach, analysis, and activity, using evidence and data to inform opinion and change
  • You bring your experience to develop new, reliable and effective approaches to events, content and membership marketing
  • You take responsibility and are accountable for your activity and impact
  • You communicate justify and defend your approach, campaigns, activity, and impact effectively to all internal stakeholders
  • You have a good understanding of paid marketing techniques including PPC and retargeting
  • You have experience in email marketing automation platforms
  • You are a great communicator and have great copywriting skills
  • You are familiar with different CRM systems and database manipulation
  • Desirable: Knowledge of project management systems and basic knowledge Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
