The school is located in the heart of the city, just minutes away from Angel Station. They have an ethos of commitment and care for their students and workat making an innovative curriculum to engage their students. The school is inhabited by young people that come from an SEMH background and may have social anxiety, depression, trauma and could have SEN needs also.The students here are aged 15-19 and they are all interested in the arts. The school is a specialist performing arts college, and they believe that education has the power not only to enrich lives, but to transform them. Whatever the needs or previous experienceof their learners, their creative curriculum is designed to ignite a love of learning. They ensure that students experience an individualised approach which enables them to grow and flourish as emerging professionals within a culture of creativity and collaboration.The role:For this role they need a strong male learning support assistant to work with their students that have challenging behaviour. You will be required to help guide and work through troubles that may be in and out of school. The ideal candidate will have experienceworking with challenging behaviour including young offenders and will preferably have knowledge of gang affiliation and prevention.The students you will be working with are vulnerable and need someone committed to helping them choose a better route.
