Finance Officer, Arts Charity , Central London, £31,000We are recruiting a fantastic new role within an arts charity for a Finance Officer. Working in a small finance team and reporting to the Finance Manager, youll play a pivotal role in supporting the team in both sides of the purchase ledger.Responsibilities:* Circulate bank receipt information to budget holders promptly and confirm coding* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and prepare month end reporting as directed by the Finance Manager* Reconcile income due and received between website and payment processing platform and match to bank receipts* Work with the Communications team to respond to and resolve financial queries on membership payments* Prepare reporting and financial information to support grant claims and reporting requirements as required* Ensure all ticket sales are recorded correctly in the finance system and recognised when matured* Undertake ad-hoc analysis of expenditure as directed by the members of the Senior Management TeamExperience and skills:* At least two years experience in a financial accounting role* Part or fully qualified in AAT or other relevant financial qualification* High level of attention to detail* Experience in using a computerised finance system* Good working knowledge of Excel* Experience of working with Sage Line 50 desired
