Job Description

Robert Half is excited to announce our exclusive partnership with a growing SME scale-up in search for a talented Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Founders, who are supportive and inspiring.Exciting opportunity for a standalone role with great growth potential. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, able to influence decisions and bring SME experience to the table. No need for specific qualifications, just someone who can come in,get the accounts in order, handle month-end responsibilities, and work with the factoring company. This position offers the chance to build and develop processes, the team, and take on more exciting responsibilities as time progresses.Role & Responsibilities as Finance Manager:

  • Compilation of annual management accounts,
  • Management of prepayments and accruals,
  • Completion of quarterly VAT returns,
  • Timely submission of reports to HMRC,
  • Efficient processing and settlement of supplier invoices,
  • Proactive credit control measures,
  • Bank reconciliations,
  • Accurate processing of sales invoices,
  • Detailed reconciliation of all nominal accounts,
  • Payroll management, including both weekly and monthly payroll runs,
  • Implementing new controls, processes, and systems.
  • Oversight of employee expenses management,
  • Supervision of quarterly stock take procedures,
  • Managing company pensions and ensuring reports are balanced and submitted.

The successful Finance Manager will thrive and be excited to join and be a part of an incredible journey. In return, you will receive £60,000 base salary + benefits including car parking, located in Tottenham.During the initial introduction period, you are required to work fully onsite to familiarise yourself with the team, company culture, and job responsibilities.
