Field Service EngineerNorth London and surrounding area and Milton Keynes areaTo c£35k basic neg dep exp + generous o/t - realistic OTE of up to £50k + vehicle + laptopOur client has been established for more than 30 years and specialise in the supply, installation and service of loading bay equipment, high speed doors and roller shutters as well as complete loading bay solutions from dock levellers and scissor lifts through to complete loading dock facilities for clients across the whole of the UK.With full product training available for the successful candidate, as a field service engineer working on commercial automatic doors, barrier equipment and gates, loading bay products, high speed and sectional doors and roller shutters, you will carry out installations, repairs and servicing activities on a range of new and existing products, effectively meeting customer specifications and developing and maintain effective relationships with clients along the way.Able to demonstrate the willingness and potential to accurately interpret and install equipment as defined in the process documentation, installation manuals and engineering drawing information and specifications, you will assume the lead role for maintenance repair and service contracts so previous Field service engineer experience within the Industry and good all round knowledge of all types of Industrial Doors is essential for the position.With demonstrable Mechanical Engineering skills with electrical engineering abilities (wiring of control boxes for example) you must be able to pass a CRB check (for security purposes) and hold a valid CSCS card and a full UK driving licence.You will be flexible in undertaking work away from home and out of hours and will be confident in working both autonomously and as part of a team whilst using your own initiative.With exceptional customer facing and service skills and the ability to listen to their requirements, previous dedicated experience of working as a Service engineer repairing loading bay equipment and roller shutter doors will prove distinctly advantageous, as will holding an EN16005 Certificate and good general IT skills.Contact the Field Service Engineer Team at Premier Technical Recruitment on or email your cv in confidence to for further details.
