About Us:We are looking for someone to join a dedicated Targeted Youth Support team committed to creating lasting change in our community. Their mission is to empower young individuals and steer them away from the pitfalls that can hinder their potential. They believein early intervention and diversion strategies to pave the way for a brighter future. Role: Early Intervention and Diversion PractitionerWhat Youll Do:

  • As our Early Intervention and Diversion Practitioner, you will be on the front lines of transforming lives. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assessment and Planning: Conducting thorough assessments to identify risk factors and creating personalized intervention plans.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Providing one-on-one support to young people, acting as a positive role model and mentor.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with schools, families, and community organizations to build a strong support network.
  • Program Development: Contributing to the design and implementation of diversion programs aimed at preventing youth involvement in negative activities.
  • Advocacy: Being a strong advocate for young people, ensuring they have a voice in decision-making processes.
� What Were Looking For:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Social Work, Youth Work, Teaching, Probation or Youth Justice
  • A passion for working with young people and a commitment to making a difference.
  • Proven experience in early intervention and diversion strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
