Job Description

Location: London, UKDivision: Ticketmaster InternationalLine Manager: VP of EngineeringContract Terms: PermanentTHE ROLE You’ll guide development and delivery for part of our core ticketing platform, which helps to drive billions of dollars of revenue annually across multiple countries worldwide.You will lead, manage, and inspire engineers to own and deliver the best ticketing experience across the globe.You’ll help teams fulfil technical, operational, and business requirements by putting yourself in the trenches.This will require strong leadership as well as a roll-up-your sleeves / hands on attitude.You must be able to collaborate and influence a wide range of stakeholders, from senior management down to the individual contributor. You must be able to translate the business priorities of the company into a technical roadmap and be an excellent communicator between the business and the tech team.Ticketmaster Entertainment, part of Live Nation Entertainment is the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, e-commerce and artist management.   • WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
  • Experience building teams and products that scale
  • Experience working with and leading remote and distributed teams.
  • Experience working with high volume transaction systems.
  • Built and delivered products that have scaled to millions of users.
  • Ideally have professional technical experience with systems that sell tickets.
  • Professional experience building & operating solutions built using a hybrid cloud deployment approach.
  • Experience working with legacy technologies, and ideally leading the modernisation of them.
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery methods
  • Current software architecture trends and practices
  • Travel internationally working with outsourcing partners, to attend meetings & conferences on location
