Job Description

My London based client are looking for a Data Project Manager to join them for an initial 2-month contract, to help deliver at a critical point in an exciting Data Platform Project. The Project Manager will be responsible for, onboarding a new supplier whowill work with the organisation to deliver a Cloud Data Platform (Azure) which will allow the organisation to drive key insights within their Health and Medical function.The successful Project Manager must have strong contract negotiation experience and be able to demonstrate knowledge, from previous experience, of what a good contract looks like, inc. SLAs, support etc.The successful Project Manager will also be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement experience and the ability to work across the functions of organisations to ensure meeting delivery timescales.The successful PM will also be responsible for setting up new "ways of working", helping the tech team and the business move towards a Product and Agile mindset for the New Platform. Therefore previous experience of delivering using Waterfall and Agile methodologyis essential.Skills;

  • Experience of Delivering Cloud Data Platform Projects (Azure)
  • Demonstrable experience of supplier contract negotiation, knowing what "good looks like", SLAs, support etc.
  • Demonstrable experience of puling different functions together to onboard suppliers and new supplier contracts
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience of managing projects involving a high degree of stakeholder engagement and change
  • Experience of writing standard project lifecycle documentation and in working with PPM tools
  • Experience of managing projects involving cloud-based solutions and technologies e.g. SaaS/PaaS/IaaS
  • Experience of packaged systems selection, implementation, and enhancements
  • Experience of project budget management
  • Experience of writing project lifecycle documentation
  • Proven track record of successful end-to-end delivery of Technology projects
  • Experience of setting up and laying foundations for "ways of working" (Waterfall to Agile)
  • Experience of delivering using both Waterfall and Agile methodology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working within Medical / Healthtech sector
