Job Description

DescriptionWe are working on behalf of a Block Management company based in North London, responsible for the management of residential and properties across London. We are currently seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team and manage all aspects of creditcontrol.The Role:As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Chasing overdue debts and managing customer accounts
  • Liaising with customers via phone and email to resolve payment issues
  • Reconciling customer accounts and producing financial reports
  • Managing the credit control database and ensuring accuracy of information
  • Performing credit checks on new and existing customers
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Working closely with the finance team to ensure effective cash flow management for service charge
  • Working with the litigation team on issuing court action
The Candidate:The ideal candidate for this position should have:
  • At least 2 years experience in credit control or a related field
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • A customer-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment within the office
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
  • Able to read a lease
  • A track record of working in the property management or real estate sector would be advantageous
The Package:Based on experience this role is paying £35,000 -£40,000 as well as ongoing training and development opportunities to support your career growth within the company.
