Job Description

Community and Events OfficerIslington£20 per hourPart Time ContractNovax Recruitment is actively seeking a Community and Events Officer based in Islington. This is a part time contract position.The hiring manager can accommodate hybrid working with some office/site visits. With this in mind, we will only consider applications from commutable distances.Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring events are run safely and efficiently
  • Supporting the Parks Management Team in community engagement
  • Engaging the community in use and management of parks
  • To coordinate the development and management of various forums
  • Ad hoc administrative and finance tasks as directed by management
Skills and experience required:
  • Previous experience in a related field e.g.. events management, outdoor events etc.
  • Experience delivering and administering events and finance systems
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Strong IT skills
