Job Description

Full-Time 1:1 Teaching AssistantAre you passionate about making a difference in a childs life Do you have experience working with students with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs If so, we want YOU to join our client schools dynamic team!About the Role:As a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a child within Year 3 who has SEMH needs. Your compassionate and firm approach will empower this student to thrive academically and emotionally. The school is located Haringey,close to seven sisters station.Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing tailored support to the student to meet their individual needs
  • Implementing strategies to promote positive behavior and emotional well-being
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment
  • Monitoring and tracking the students progress and reporting back to the SENCO
We are seeking individuals who have:
  • Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs
  • A compassionate and caring demeanor, coupled with firmness when necessary
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity in the classroom
