Job Description

The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for Production Operatives for our food manufacturer in Pocklington to start ASAP.At the site they produce sweet ingredients including coated inclusions and cereals for market leading brands.This is a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.You will work on a continental shift pattern with rotating days and nights.4 days on 4 off, 12 hours shifts.6am-6pm and 6pm-6amPay Rate: £9.67p/h + £1.74p/h shift allowanceKey Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for following company rules, regulations and wearing P.P.E correctly
  • Maintain a good standard quality of work
  • Inform relevant managers of any food safety issues
  • Maintain correct paperwork and report any breakdowns and shortages
  • Input information on the SAP system and issue stock as per procedure
  • Adhere to clean as you go ethos throughout the workplaces and ensure that cleaning sheets are maintained in the correct manner
  • Carry out daily utensil check in own area to ensure all equipment is in the correct location
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A good team player
  • Good eye for details
  • Good communicator
  • Computer literate
  • Previous experience as a production operative, picker, packer, cleaner or experience within a food manufacturing will be an advantage
