Job Description

National Sales Consultant - Software for the Education SectorBasic Salary £40,000 - £45,000, OTE to £60,000 + benefitsHome based covering the UKMy client is a respected provider of integrated software solutions for schools, colleges and multi academy trusts. This includes online payment modules, communications, parents evening booking systems and much more. An opportunity has arisen for a nationalsales consultant who will focus on MATs, group deals, local authorities and higher level business throughout the UK. If you have experience selling into the education sector and have experience with tenders this could be a fantastic role for you!The Role:

  • This role can be home or office based depending on location, and youll be selling the modular software solution to larger, more complex clients in primary and secondary education. This can include MATs, local authorities, group deals but also catererswithin schools for their dinner money and online meal ordering modules.
  • Because of the nature of the size of the deals, quite a few will be subject to a tender process so youll be involved with this too.
  • Some software demonstrations will be online but some will be face to face in schools or clients premises so there will be a requirement to travel in the UK.
  • This is a new business focused role but there will be some account management too.
The Person:
  • Were ideally looking for someone who has sold into the education sector, preferably with MATs and higher level business.
  • Alternatively if youve sold a software solution into the public sector and have tender experience this could also be considered.
  • Location isnt important as long as youre ok with travel nationally
  • Someone with good new business skills would be a good fit
  • You need to be comfortable working autonomously and independently from home.
The Package:
  • A basic salary between £40,000 and £45,000 is offered depending on experience
  • OTE is an additional £15k but this is uncapped
  • 25 days holiday
  • Additional benefits also available
