The Support Worker role is to provide a safe and secure transport service for vulnerable adults and children in a dignified manner. We offer a bespoke service to our clients to meet each individuals requirements, while maintaining a fast and effective responsetime.We strive to provide a safe and secure transport service, to all individuals in need of conveyance. Our service includes -- Transporting of patients under the Mental Health Act 1983- Placement transfers/supervised contacts- Transport of young people with a high risk of absconding/violent or aggressive behaviour- Court appearances- Transport of informal patients- Transport of Dementia and older patientsOur vehicles are maintained to the highest of standards by main dealer garages having regular services. All vehicles are fitted with GPS tracking and privacy glass devices for staff and client safety. All have fire extinguishers, first aid kits as standardplus blankets and pillows for clients comfort.Why work for us- All staff will be offered a 40 hour per week contract.- Only working 3 days a week- We offer competitive salaries with plenty of scope for progression and professional development.- We are a Real Living Wage Employer- All staff will be given a regular shift pattern of 2 on and 3 off, during which time the staff will be expected to be on call 24 hours a day during this period and expected to be no more than one hour away from the office base or a designated meeting point.- Any overtime will be paid additionally.All staff are required to attend a full in depth 10-day induction training regime, to give you all the tools required to fulfil the role. Including both practical and theoretical work is completed in this time.Although no experience is needed, ideally the candidate would be;- Reliable- Hard working- Available to work flexible shifts- Have good communication skills- Work well within a team- All staff must hold a full driving licence.
