Medical Workforce Manager - East YorkshireEden Brown Synergy are working in partnership with a leading NHS Trust based in East Yorkshire who are looking to recruit an experienced Medical Workforce Manager to join their Medical Workforce department. Reporting directly into the Deputy Director of Workforce you will provide the day to day oversight and leadership to the Medical Workforce Team and deliver an effective, efficient, responsive and high-quality medical staffing service. You will have the opportunity to thrive and act as a champion for medical staffing, striving to continually improve current practice and to raise the profile of the service within the Trust. Your new role as Medical Workforce Manager:As the Medical Workforce Manager, you will lead on the recruitment and selection process for doctors for all grades, monitor and advise on medical recruitment processes and attend interview panels and appointments advisory committees in an advisory capacity as necessary. You will provide high quality support and advice to managers and clinical leaders in all aspects of medical productivity including the effectiveness of job planning, the use of flexibility of terms and conditions of service, the reduction in locum and agency spend. You will be accountable for providing and receiving highly complex, sensitive information around the recruitment of and management of the medical workforce orally in writing or electronically to inform work colleagues, managers, staff and external contacts. The Experience & Qualifications Required:Ideally CIPD HR Management or equivalent, highly specialist knowledge of Medical Staffing, strong understanding of the importance of key relationships between Medical Staffing, HR, Payroll and other departments. You will also have excellent working knowledge and understanding of medical terms and conditions of employment along with excellent communication and presentation skills.
