Fitter/Assembly Technician - Pocklington Manpower is currently looking for an experience mechanical assembler to join our busy manufacturing client based in PocklingtonThis is temporary contract for about 2 months however there is a possibly for extension for the right candidate.As a member of the production department the successful candidate will work as part of a team assembling touchscreen and digital solutions for a variety of high level clients.The individual must have a keen interest of Engineering and have preferably gained suitable qualifications in this area as well as having a good standard of education. In addition any experience of Electronic Assemblies would be advantageous but not essential.We are looking for someone who enjoys working within a team but will also be able to work using their own initiative in order to a achieve a high standard of finish.Please note that this role does require the candidate to be able to lift heavy items from time to time. It is therefore deemed not suitable for those with pre-existing back problems.Working hours : Monday to Friday 8.30am 17.00 with an hours breaks.Free on site parking, free tea and coffee on site.Start - ImmediatelyPay DOE - between £12.50 - £14.50
