• Overseeing all Employment Relations matters, including discipline, grievance, performance capability and change management processes.
• Assume full responsibility for ill health capability/long-term sickness procedures and occupational health referrals within the designated business area.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for line managers in your jurisdiction, addressing and resolving HR queries and issues raised by both line managers and employees.
• Offer comprehensive written and verbal HR advice to stakeholders, prepare case-related documentation, and ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures throughout the business, adhering to procedural timelines.
• Collaborate closely with line managers and department heads to maintain a uniform approach to people management and compliance, fostering collaborative relationships across all organisational levels.
• Assist the Head of HR in reviewing and implementing new HR Policies & Procedures, aligning them with changes in relevant employment legislation, and provide coaching and support to line managers for effective integration across the business.
• Strive for continuous improvement in HR processes and Company practices within business areas, ensuring adaptable HR service delivery that meets the evolving needs of the rapidly developing business policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with the L&D team to regularly assess the training and development needs of line managers in the business area, creating and delivering targeted HR management training to address skill gaps and enhance managerial knowledge.
• Stay informed about Employment Law updates and changes in HR best practices.
• Oversee all recruitment activities.

ProfileA successful HRBP should have:

• A strong understanding of HR functions and procedures
• Proven experience in working in a fast-paced environment and working with people at all levels.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of HR systems and databases
• Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business needs.
• Proficiency in managing the recruitment and selection process.

Job Offer

• An estimated salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
• Competitive benefits package
• Open to someone working 4 or 5 days a week
