Financial Reporting Manager Location - BrandesburtonSalary - £50,000 - £55,000About the company:Simpson Judge have partnered with a well-established manufacturing company, with a primary focus on being carbon zero. They specialise in public sector, commercial & industrial building projects. About the role:The role is to support and enhance the senior finance team by taking ownership of the preparation of the groups statutory financial statements & Tax reporting to enable fast and accurate external reporting and completion of the annual statutory audit and taxfilings. It also comes with hybrid working, with 2 days at home and the rest in the Brandesburton office.Responsibilities include:* Preparation of statutory annual financial statements to tight deadlines * Preparation of consolidated statutory accounts * Preparation of tax packs to tight deadlines * Experience of IFRS 16 * Balance sheet reconciliations * Advanced MS office user (pivots, sumifs, vlookups and so on essential) * Experience of preparing group consolidations including intercompany transactions / trading * Debt covenant calculations * Preparation of consolidated management accounts * Preparation of monthly board pack * Assisting with budgets and forecasts * Preparation of fair value calculations, impairment studies and going concern assessments Skills/Qualifications:* CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified* IFRS 15 or 16 experience * Experience of IFS/other ERP systems * Understanding of VAT returns including MTD & DRC Interested in finding out more Click apply for job and a member of our team would be happy to provide more information about this opportunity, prior to including you in the applicant/interview process.
