Riding of Yorkshire.This is a short-breaks residential service where 3 children with disabilities reside. The role is perfect for someone who would wants to join the charity sector, working for a well-reputed high standards charity and is passionate for children with disabilities.The charity has a well-known in the social care world, making a difference in vulnerable childrens lives through a variety of services such as residential, fostering, adoption helping with issues like child trafficking, exploitation, youth offending andmany others. They believe in creating equality of opportunity in the workplace and supporting people to manage their work-life balance, thus you will be guaranteed an open-minded, flexible arrangements type of workplace.ResponsibilitiesThe childrens registered manager would be responsible for managing an up to 3 bedded beautiful and new residential home in East Riding having support from an experienced and dedicated team of staff and management team.RequirementsPlease apply if:- you have a level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential childcare or equivalent- you can commit to sleep-ins and shift work, including weekends and bank holidays but only as a last resort ie when all other staffing alternatives have been exhausted-you have knowledge and experience working with legislative framework related to childrens homes and within Ofsted regulations and high quality standards of children homesBenefits
