Job Description

Business Intelligence Analyst Location: Remote Home Working / East Yorkshire My Client is recruiting a Business Intelligence Analyst position on permanent basis to work on a greenfield implementation of a range of new management reports and data analytics toolsKeyResponsibilities

  • Liaising with Key Stakeholders and Business Users to identify key reporting and analytics requirements and proposing new solutions in a greenfield environment
  • Investigating a wide variety disparate data sources to define the scope of new solutions
  • Design, develop and implementing new dashboard reporting / visualisation tools in the business to improve reporting efficiencies and improve visibility of key performance data
  • Involved in complex data analysis to create a coherent reporting framework utilising a "big data" approach and using predictive analytics
  • Testing new reporting solutions and ensuring the new BI / reporting capabilities are successfully embedded within the business operations
  • Conducting post implementation reviews to assess return on investment and ensure full business benefit is being realised
    • The ideal Business Intelligence Analyst will be able to offer the following:
  • Proven track record delivering BI, data analysis solutions in a greenfield environment
  • Experience with Power BI / SQL / creating automated data feeds for reporting
  • Ability to effectively use data to support / inform the commercial decision- making process
  • Strong technical BI capabilities combined with commercial approach to data and excellent stakeholder management skills
