Training Support SpecialistCTCRM, LympstoneSummary of Role: The Training Support Specialist is responsible for the ordering and distributing of sufficient stocks of Military Publications, Pamphlets, Maps and Charts for Commando Training Centre, and tocarry out photographic taskings as directed in support of Royal Marine training and in accordance with the Multimedia Centre (MMC) mission. You will also be expected to act as front of house for the MMC and to provide support to the wider MMC.Duties: Mainduties include:Order and distribute sufficient stocks of Military Publications, Pamphlets, Maps and Charts to support Royal Marine training at CTCRM, whilst maintaining the departmental status of an Authorised Map Store.Operation and maintenance of a largeformat laminator in order to ensure maps fit for purpose. This is to include instruction on the operation of the laminator and the supervision of its use by other staff when required.Front of house/reception, answer calls and supply information and adviceon all departments within the MMC.To take photographs in accordance with the MMCs mandate, and to subsequently create, populate and print production templates.Ensure compliance with MoD & Raytheon (Team Fisher) policies, regulations, and procedures.Other Dutiesand Responsibilities:Create print ready stationary, door signs and posters.Carries out any other appropriate task such as assisting the other departments within the MMC when required.Employees are responsible for their own Health and Safety and that of workcolleagues and customers.The nature of RN training requires a high degree of flexibility for all Raytheon (Team Fisher) staff; there may be a requirement for travel to other sites within the UK.Candidate Requirements:Essential: The post holder must have:AHigh Level of IT competency to include Microsoft Office based software on a PC based systemAn interest in photography and be able to use a DSLR cameraA full UK Driving LicenceAdherence to quality standards and proceduresThe ability to work as part of a teamDesirable:Should have:A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud SuiteA High level of determination to succeedIntegrity and honesty; able to deliver bad news as well as goodEnergy and drive; willing to work long hours when requiredStaying power; maintains personalmotivation over the long haulCourage; able to make the difficult decisions as well as the easy ones182380 Raytheon Technologies is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
