We are recruiting Trainee Employment Coaches for a brand-new programme at Education Development Trust called Making a Difference North East.Location: Various locations throughout the North East (Northumberland, North Tyneside, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Gateshead, South Tyneside, Sunderland and County Durham)We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and making a difference to people’s lives. Candidates who may not have experience but can demonstrate motivation and great communication skills and willingness to learn on the job. Are dedicated, resilient, have amazing problem-solving skills, are techy savvy and understand how powerful social media can be when trying to deliver a message.What is Making a Difference North East Making a Difference North East is a brand-new programme to be delivered by Education Development Trust in the North East LEP region of England. The programme is a European Social Fund (ESF) match funded programme which is designed to support both unemployed and economically inactive participants, the aim being to progress them to job search readiness or into paid employment.Our Employment Coaches will provide into work support for adult participants in a range of community and employer settings, with the support of local labour market information to help make informed career decisions. There will be a need to engage in a sensitive and targeted approach to building skills, confidence and helping people become more employable. As a trainee Coach you willComplete the L4 IAG qualification within the first 12 months in the role.Employment Coaches must hold a current, clean driving license, and have access to a vehicle.
