Youllbe working as a team of specialist developers, testers and analysts to design, develop and maintain critical cyber applications and systems to support government, law enforcement and commercial customers contributing to the development of solutions using thelatest technologies.This is an opportunity to innovate and try new things; to fearlessly challenge and question; to learn and progress in an inclusive and supportive culture; to be rewarded for the vital contribution you make.Key ResponsibilitiesApply testskills and experience within the context of an Agile software delivery teamResponsible for the creation and maintenance of automated test frameworks and scriptsProduce test automation strategies, plans and reports in compliance with customer project guidelinesDefineand manage test environments; create and manage test data; define and manage test tools;Integrate test automation into the deployment pipeline;Support estimation of test activitiesPromote test automation and best practices within the team and across projectsSupporttest team interactions with the wider development team and assist in the resolution of issuesSupport the development team at formal and artefact reviews as necessaryEssential SkillsProven track record of using scripted test automation to improve quality, consistencyand coverage within a software development environment. Demonstrable knowledge of creating and managing test automation frameworksExperience of deploying and configuring complex software under Linux/WindowsExperience of working in an Agile/SCRUM/DevOps deliverymodelDesirable SkillsExperience of test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium (Nightwatch, Frameworkium), Cypress, Eggplant, PostMan, Cucumber, RobotExperience of programming/scripting languages such as Java, Javascript, Python, BashExperience ofAWS or AzureBehaviour SkillsGood interpersonal skills for customer and partner liaisonGood written and oral communication skillsGood time management, organisation and prioritisation skillsAn inquisitive mind and a desire to promote innovationDesire to learnand constantly expand your horizonsAbility to work closely with others in a small teamAbility to work under pressureHigh degree of initiative and flexibilityWillingness to travel if requiredAbout Raytheon UKWith facilities in Broughton, Waddington, Glenrothes,Harlow, Gloucester, Manchester with presence across other customer sites also.
