Job Description

Territory Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager Extremely well established business with an incredible reputation in their industry sector. Looking for a strong Territory Manager who can cover a Northern patch in the UK. The client is looking for someone with excellent experience selling into industriessuch as Manufacturing, Construction, Food & Beverage, Mining, Steel, Transportation and also Chemical Processing. The ideal candidate with have sold products associated with Welding, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Valves, Industrial Hoses and also Couplings. If youhave sold any similar products and are looking for a strong, career minded business then this is definitely the role for you.The ideal candidate can live anywhere between Birmingham and Scotland - Remote working role with a visit to the office in the North West once a month for a sales meeting.Competitive Salary with excellent benefits - APPLY NOW! Start August/September 2022!Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Attain agreed sales target(s) with acceptable profit goals, month on month, year on year.
  • Develop and implement sales plan which support the companys growth goals for products and geographical areas.
  • Balance product mix to ensure the product package is competitive against competitor offerings.
  • Liaising with Customer Service teams to identify, evaluate and acquire new business opportunities and the highest customer service standards.
  • Manage and develop appropriate sales penetration through market based competitive price structures.
  • Assist in the development of Marketing Materials, Marketing plans and Sales forecasts.
  • Provide relevant market intelligence back to the business.
  • Responsible for maintaining and developing healthy and productive relationships with all customers
  • Identifying new or niche markets where the Products could be of use.
  • Prioritising accounts according to potential and call patterns.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining good, healthy and positive attitudes whilst constantly improving product knowledge and selling skills (insight selling).
  • Responsible for attending exhibitions where required, assisting and managing daily activity.
  • Responsible for attending all Sales Meetings punctually and well prepared to participate in a positive manner.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Achieving sales and activity targets set monthly, annually in revenue and product mix terms.
  • Maximise the number of visits, calls per day ratio, weekly, monthly and annually
  • Ensuring timely and accurate call reporting within the week of the visit.
  • Increasing the basket of goods sold through the customer network.
