Job Description

Technical Project Engineer/Senior Project EngineerI am delighted to be exclusively partnering with my client in the North East who are looking to appoint a Technical Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer on a permanent basis due to new project wins and an exciting expansion.You will be responsible for the entirety of the project from cost, integrity, and delivery for the engineering and technical elements of work on projects.This is an opportunity to work alongside a fantastic management team, an established client base and really progress your career.Depending on experience both Engineer and Senior Engineer levels will be considered.Job Description of a Technical Project Engineer

  • Prepare engineering design briefs or scope of work documents ensuring project requirements, budgets, safety requirements, and functional requirements detailed
  • Create purchase specifications and raise purchase requisitions
  • Responsible for scheduling and recording design reviews with engineering and technical teams
  • Generate project structure (BoM)
  • Interpret and clarify customers requirements throughout
  • Review bid documentation, contract, schedule, and client specifications upon handover
  • Identifying engineering problems and providing solutions
Skills required of a Technical Project Engineer
  • You will be ideally Degree Qualified within an Engineering discipline
  • Have a technical engineering understanding, be able to read technical drawings/use CAD software
  • Have previous experience of working within a Technical hands-on Project Engineering role previously either at an Engineering or Senior level
  • Ideally, you will have a background within Engineering or Heavy Engineering
  • Both electrical and mechanical backgrounds considered
