Job Description

Are you passionate about delivering high quality, engaging, respectful and dignified care and support to older people If so we are looking to recruit a passionate Senior Support Worker to join our existing management team in Carlisle.As a Senior Supportworker you will support the management of a small 27 bed residential care home in Carlisle. Providing 24 hour support for older adults that require additional care and support, but without the need for specialist nursing Care.You will act as a role model byleading and supervising carers day-to-day, working alongside your team. You will also be responsible for case managing residents and liaising with families, health care professional and other stakeholders to ensure that the best care plans are created anddelivered. This role includes working closely with the registered manager and Deputy Manager, administering medication and carrying out risk assessments.As a Senior Support Worker we ask for you to care for our residents like they are your own family, caringfor their Physical, Psychological and Social needs. Assisting residents with personal care activities including personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals and support to fully engage in activities.Above all, were looking for kind and caring peoplewho want a job where they can really make a difference to peoples lives. Previous experience working in a Care home environment is desirable but not essential.
