Job Description

CompanyNigel Wright have been appointed by a key, high growth manufacturing client to support with the recruitment of an experienced Product Manager.RoleThe product manager will be responsible for the successful implementation and life cycle management of specific business product lines to deliver growth in market share. The role will set the vision and strategy for the companys products andwill be key toengaging with customers in conjunction with the sales team and bringing the voice of the customer to the table in technical discussions with the engineering function.Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Translating business strategy into product strategy.
  • Owning the product roadmap
  • Executing product strategy and driving action throughout the business to get products to market.
Experience
  • Previous product management experience in a manufacturing / engineering company.
  • Experience in the Compressed Air/Gas or Industrial Filtration sectors is highly desirable.
  • Candidates will ideally have commenced in a technical engineering environment before progressing into commercially slanted product management.
  • Experience of working directly with customers in conjunction with the sales team and also engaging with internal engineering teams regarding technical specifications and new product developments.
  • Ideally based within the North East of England with a willingness to travel.
