Furthermore, the project team are looking for committed talent, who embracelongevity within their role, and look to be part of an innovative project team.K2 website linkfor reference.The role centres on managing the day-to-day requirements of a large multi-million pound construction and building project.You will utilise your programme management experience to oversee the coordination of sub-contractors and internal milestone programmes.The aim is to ensure the efficient delivery of key milestone contract triggers, whilst overseeing programme logistics of the works on this exemplar project.You will manage a small planning team, to which our client is looking for an individual that can train and inspire, whilst managing the busy day-to-day tasksGeneral OverviewTo manage a team, plan contracts, schedule resources and materials as directed.Key Accountabilities Creating, maintaining, and reviewing programmes of work for the project. Liaising with Internal departments and external surveyors, engineers, and architects & Supply chain. Producing progress reports and forecasts for the business, team members, clients, and stakeholders Reviewing & breaking large schemes down into phases of development. Using project management tools to plan timeframes Working with Estimators, Operational & Commercial teams to calculate the resources required for a project. Planning contingency programmes. Advising construction team on short term programmes Meeting with contractors and suppliers Demonstrating knowledge of construction processes and site constraints. Inputting into and Writing bids for tender Managing multiple projects with the support of junior & developing planners Working between offices and constructionWho are we looking forKey SkillsStaff Effectiveness Identify training and development requirements Inspire and train team memebers to a high standard Be innovative in all aspects of job and encourage staff to put forward new ideas Pre-Contract Planning. Help prepare Tender Programmes considering site constraints, material & subcontract lead in periods Prepare Method StatementsContract Planning Programme contract Recommend process work as necessary Monitor progress Produce short term and recovery plans Develop and implement planning systems Produce critical path and delay programmes for claim preparation where required.
