Job Description

NORTH EAST (586) Permanentup to £65k + £5k car allowance + Private Healthcare + bonus up to 20%Reporting to the People Director, the People BP will have responsibility for a single site, working with the SLT to understand the business challenges, deliver pragmatic solutions and transformational change. This role is a blend of strategic input and operationalHR and includes:

  • Continue to improve employee engagement
  • Understand reasons for staff attrition and find practical solutions
  • Support managers to ensure a high performance culture
  • Ensure people structures are fit for purpose
  • Coach Managers to ensure they understand HR Policies and Procedures
  • Collaborate with the SLT and Talent team regarding recruitment requirements for both volume and highly skilled roles
  • Working with unions, influencing and negotiating positive outcomes
Person specification
  • Strong HR generalist with experience of dealing with a wide variety of employee relations issues
  • Experience in manufacturing is essential
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Excellent partnering and coaching skills
  • Strong organisational, problem solving and follow up skills
  • Experience of delivering HR projects
