Job Description

The Opportunity:Nigel Wright Recruitment is working exclusively with a repeat industrial sector client in their search for a part time Business Development Manager. The Company is UK based, but sells globally and the new hire will be dealing with customers across multiplecontinents. The working hours would be around 25-30 hours per weekRole Profile:

  • Proactively conducting B2B business development activities to a combination of previous / current and prospective customers
  • Developing leads and opportunities for the deal closing sales leadership(potential for the role to progress into a deal closing position)
  • Utilising and developing the company CRM system effectively
  • Communicating pipeline and commercial information upline to the Directors and with peers
  • There may be some requirement for flexibility in hours, to take account of time different time zones for certain customer contact
  • 25-30 hours per week
Person Specification:
  • Previous B2B phone-based sales experience is essential
  • International business development experience would be advantageous, but is by no means essential
  • An interest in technical products and engineering machinery would be a distinct advantage
