Job Description

Organisational Development Business PartnerREMOTE (Ref 535) Permanent, Flexible working hours£38,400, 25 days Holiday + Bank holidays + BenefitsWe have a rare and unique opportunity for an OD individual looking for the autonomy and freedom of delivering the L&D objectives for our client. You will own the apprenticeship training, EDI projects, talent management and manage change for our client, workingalongside the Head of People & Culture and help deliver the HR Agenda for 2023.Our client is based in Manchester with sites across England. Occasional travel is required but remote working for the majority of the role. The Head of People & Culture has built a fabulous team and has now created the role of OD Business Partner to supportthe implementation of the People & Culture Strategy, contributing to the cultural change and transformation journey.The ODBP will also support all Learning & Development requirements in areas such as behaviour and values, culture change, employee engagement, change management, apprenticeship, coaching, leadership development and talent/succession planning.You will be honest, caring, a good listener and creative when it comes to L&OD!Job role includes:

  • Training needs analysis for the whole organisation with prioritisation
  • Liaise with the Head of H&C to ensure compliance with audit reported training
  • Build a portfolio of internal training, and work with key external stakeholders
  • Design, deliver and evaluate training courses from directorate specialisms to Finance Wellbeing, Mental Health and career development workshops
  • Talent management and succession planning
  • Work with the Colleague Engagement Committee on engagement activities
  • Be part of the ED&I committee ensuring all activities are inclusive
  • Design, implement, manage and report on a mentoring scheme (internal and external) as well as other L&D opportunities for the Academy
  • Create and manage a succession plan as well as engagement
  • Identify training solutions and work closely with the Heads of Service on defining and delivering excellence
  • Design e-learning packages and ensure the compliance of all training is managed and reported
  • Support committees with training solutions and work on initiatives to enhance the employee experience, including the ED&I plan for delivery and implementation.
  • Manage all induction training and report on compliance and support managers through probation
  • Maintain accurate data for all training records
  • Champion key areas such as Mental Health, Menopause, Wellbeing, Personal Development and ED&I and design, deliver and evaluate workshops for all colleagues
  • Deliver on the Apprenticeship strategy using our levy appropriately
Candidate requirements
  • Experience with Learning & Development including the design, delivery and evaluation of training workshops
  • Experience of working with culture change
  • Training Needs Analysis
  • Provide analysis, interpretation, observations, recommendations, feedback and action planning for a wide range of OD interventions
  • Ability to interpret data and make sound value for money decisions on development proposals
  • Collaborate to further develop our colleague satisfactions surveys
  • Ability to influence people and engage with groups for workshop delivery
  • Coach and mentor colleagues
  • Be an integral part of the induction and probation process
