Pay: £18,425 per annum (pro ratadepending on hours) Start Date: September 2021We are looking for a number ofexcellent practitioners starting in September. 2021. All posts are full timeduring term time only. We have a vacancy to support ayoung child, withAdditional Needs helping them to access their education andlearning. This will include support with appropriate behaviour, socialisationand basic literacy and numeracy skills. There may also be the need to provide adegree of personal care. Initially this wouldbe a temporaryposition until July 2022, but there may well be the opportunity to extendbeyond this date if the child remains with us. Equally this post could finishsooner if the child leaves as the funding for these positions is attached tothem. In additionto this we also have avacancy for a general class Teaching Assistant. The position is for 30hours per week working five days, including 30 minutes daily lunch duty, hoursare from 8.30am to 3.00pm, contracts will be calculated on staff workingfor 39 weeks peryear. The successful candidate will beworking in a Key Stage 1 class, supporting the children and helping to addressany gaps in their learning. You will work primarily in the classroom alongsidethe class teacher or leading small groups on specific learningtargets. Youwould also be expected to encourage the appropriate behaviour and attitude toenable the most effective learning. Experience of working withchildren in an educational setting is required along with - good English andMathematical skills - flexibilityand use of initiative - strong communicationskills - experience of working with children who have Additional EducationalNeeds - the ability to work alongside different colleagues - patience andunderstanding of the way different children learn - commitmentto safeguardingand promoting the welfare of children. This post is subject to anenhanced DBS disclosure. A successful candidate for eitherjob would join a team of highly motivated and excellent practitioners.Experience and qualification is preferred.
