Job Description

The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful Northumberland-based business in the role of Marketing and Communications Executive. Situated on the outskirts of Hexham, our client are based within a beautiful rural village just outside the town centre. Well established within the engineering industry, the business specialise in designing and building offshore engineering systems.Our client are currently in the process of executing their business growth plan and are now looking for an experienced Marketing and Communications Executive to become a part of their fast expanding team.Whats in it for youAs a business, our client offer a great culture where they invest in you, promote internally and cultivate an environment where every member of the team is valued.The RoleWithin your role, you will be responsible for providing a wide variety of support within the Brand & Comms team, and across the wider business as a whole. This includes:

  • Create and publish content to digital platforms such as the company website and intranet.
  • Support in the development and execution of communications campaigns to support operational activities and increase brand awareness.
  • Support internal comms/campaigns, including teaching & learning webinars and intranet.
  • Ensure consistent messaging throughout all channels.
  • Manage sub-contractors to generate high quality photography and video.
  • Help with the planning and running of company events, including the annual summer festival.
  • Provide administrative support for general comms activities.
The Person
  • Self-motivated with a positive, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Innovative and creative with the confidence to generate and promote new ideas.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing capabilities
  • Good organisational and planning skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A strong communicator, verbally, visually, and in writing.
  • A proactive team player.
