The Yorkshire Air Museum in Elvington, York, is looking for a Marketing, Communications and Fundraising manager who will enable a step-change in funding and profile for the organisation. This post will help to realise our potential by building on our wonderfuland respected heritage, and our growing online presence.If you have a strong strategic mind, a sound experience of digital, a passion for heritage and excellent communications skills with an ability to address various audiences, we would love to hear fromyou.ScopeTo create and maintain a consistently high and positive profile for the Museum amongst its key audiences and stakeholders, create and implement campaigns and activities to maximise admissions revenue and other initiatives/income streams and ensurethe Museum achieves its organisational objectives.To ensure that the Museum delivers a physical and online experience that is customer/visitor-centred, aligned to strategy, enhances our reputation and helps build followership, locally and internationally.Todevelop an evidence based fundraising strategy that supports the overall strategy and business plan of the museum, is aligned with our values and ensures our sustainability.To be responsible for the management, development, optimisation and maintenance ofthe Yorkshire Air Museum website, as well as our online shop and integration with our ticketing platforms.To increase public digital access to our collection.As a member of the Management Team, to contribute to the development, implementation and measurementof strategic plans and to work closely with colleagues to ensure integration, cohesion and communication across the organisation to ensure the Museums objectives are met.
