Job Description

Maxxima are currently recruiting for aBiomedical Scientist in Virology to fill a Locum role in theNortheast of England to start ASAP; candidates can be band 5 or band 6.The successful candidate will be ideally have 2 years post registration experience. This will be working in either the virology or bacteriologysections of the laboratory; experience with PCR machines; viral serology or routine bacteriology bench work would be essential This role operates on a late shift with hours12pm to 8pm totalling up to37.5 hours weekly.The Pay rate for this role is between £17 to £25 per hour dependant on your banding.Requirements of thisBiomedical Scientist vacancy:

  • HCPC registration
  • 1-2 Years post reg laboratory experience
  • Virology or Bacteriology Experience
  • Able to work shifts between 8am to 8pm
