With the purpose of learners receiving high quality support across all elements of their Study Programme, enablingthem to achieve and make good progress from their starting points.Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Devise and deliver enrichment activities which reflect individual learner needs and abilities and provide opportunities for socialindependence and personal development in line with EHCP outcomes.Preparation and delivery of lessons, under the guidance of teacher and cover planned lessons in the absence of the teacher Consulting regularly with every teaching assistant in a one-to-onesetting. Provide support to students with complex learning difficulties, both in and out of classroom situation. Liaising with subject teachers to identify areas of need and assist in the development of learning strategies to address these.The ideal candidatewill have qualifications in English & Maths: level 2 or above or equivalent experience in Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools, or willingness to work towards.Experience of working with LLDD students with a SEN, adapting delivery and supportto ensure the individual needs of the students are met are essential towards this role.A DBS check will be required for this role.
