Pay: KR6 Start Date: September 2021We are seeking to appoint aTeaching Assistant to join our friendly, supportive and forward looking school.The successful candidate will be required, under the direction of the classteacher, to support a child in our YearR Class on a 1:1basis. The position isrelated to high needs funding. Applicants should hold at least arelevant NVQ2/OCR or equivalent. Previous Teaching Assistant experience in EYFSand/or Key Stage 1 is essential. A first aid certificate would be an advantagealongwith experience of delivering Read, Write, Inc. Knowledge of Speech andLanguage development and difficulties and ASD would also be an advantage.PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CHILD DOES REQUIRE SUPPORT WITH SELF-CARE AND MAY STILLBE IN NAPPIES. The weekly hours, forthispart-time position, are 27.5 hours, 9.00am - 3.00pm Monday-Friday. The positionis to start in September 2021.
