Pay: Kent Range6 Start Date: 01/09/2021 Higher Level Teaching Assistant(HLTA) - Fixed Term September 2021 to August 2023 Tunbridge Wells Girls GrammarSchool is looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a fixed termperiod to provide oneto one support for the learning and welfare of a SixthForm pupil with Autism; complex SEMH difficulties and a range of other SpecialEducational Needs. The role is to ensure that thepupil can safely integrate as fully as possible in the activities generallyundertakenby the other children in the class, and can fulfil their educationalpotential and work towards their independence. The HLTA will run specificprogrammes and activities to assist the pupils individual learning and socialneeds, and will implement the targetson the pupils Individual Education Plan(IEP) in liaison with the subject class teachers, Pastoral/ SEND support andthe SENCO. This position a fixed term post for 34 hours per week, term timeonly, plus INSET days, (38 weeks per annum) 0.7701 fte.
