You will be working with colleagues at the highest level within the Trust, coordinating across executive leaders, trustees, members and Local Governing Bodies. But we will support you with on-the job learningfrom our qualified company secretary and specialist external training to develop your skills and experience in what is a much sought-after discipline.We particularly welcome applicants with experience administering committees or with a law background, butwith the training and support that we are offering this could be an ideal opportunity for a graduate from other disciplines or someone looking to change careers.You will need good organisational and administrative skills and ideally have experience of takingminutes in a formal setting and be comfortable planning, setting up and supporting meetings. Specific governance experience would be helpful but we are very much offering this position as a development opportunity for the right candidate.Working closely withour Company Secretary, you will be empowered to ensure high standards of governance and compliance across the Trust, ensuring accurate record keeping and the proactive management of actions, issues and reporting. If you dont have a formal governance qualificationthen we will support you to gain a Level 4 Certificate in Academy Governance after successfully completing probation. With the possibility of further study within the professional field for the right candidate.This role line manages the Trusts Office AdministrationAssistant and will have overall responsibility for maintaining high standards of office administration and support to the executive team.This is an all year-round position.
