Job Title: Finance Analyst Req ID: 183787BRLocation(s): Base location(s) including options on remote working Summary of RoleWe are seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to join our Business Programme Finance department supporting the Sensors Team. Themain focus of the role will be on be supporting and providing accurate financial analysis to the Sensors finance and programme team. This will include tracking results against forecast and Budget, maintenance of weekly/monthly financial reports, quarterlyEstimate at Completion (EAC) production and guidance, and ad-hoc financial analysis.This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a key and trusted business partner to the Programme teams with a focus on forward planning and business decision support.Main DutiesProvideday-to-day financial support to the wider Sensors teamCompiling, agreeing and disseminating financial targets and forecasts to programme Managers to ensure forecasts are collaborative, understood and agreed prior to formal submissionSupport Finance systemreporting in SAP, BW (Business Warehouse) and Cognos for the Sensors programmesSupport the development of EVMS (Earned Value Management system) tool and processesMonthly Forecasting Process (Bookings, Sales, Profit, Cash)Management of monthly cash and Internal/Externalforecasting, understanding any variances to forecastPreparation of monthly management accounts including commentary and analysis for inclusion in Management review packsRisk and Opportunity managementSupport Gate reviews for new businessSupport the timelycompletion of the quarterly EAC processSupport the 5 Year Plan and Annual Operating Plan, ensuring linkage with investment requirementsChampion best practice and look to improve systems and processesAct as the "financial conscience" of the business and ensureBusiness and Financial Policy adherenceOther ad-hoc analysis as required by the business and wider finance teamsUnderstand and communicate the link between programme and financial performance across the business fostering a business partnering relationshipCandidateRequirementsQualified or part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) Experience working in a fast paced Matrix Organization Commercial and Business acumenPrevious experience in a business facing role Good analytical skillsProactive, "hands-on" approachGood communicationand stakeholder management skillsHighly organised and self-motivatedExcellent time management and ability to work under pressureGood working knowledge of SAP, COGNOS, BW and MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Have an existing security clearanceor able & willing to achieve a level of security clearance Personal CharacteristicsAttention to detail and process adherence.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Recognise the need for regular, concise and objective status reportingDesirable: Degreeor equivalent in a business/finance related disciplineDefense Industry experienceProject Accounting experienceAbout Raytheon UKWith facilities in Broughton, Waddington, Glenrothes, Harlow, Gloucester, Manchester and a presence across customer sites togetherwith remote working practices.
