Our world leading products includethe innovative MEMS based IMUs and the digital terrain reference navigation system, TERPROM.A vacancy has arisen for two Engineering Project Assistants to join the Plymouth siteThe Engineering Project Assistants will be required to work within the EngineeringProgramme Management team providing direct support to the Development Programme Manager and Project Engineers.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide support to the Development Programme Manager and Project Engineering team in terms of:Development Programme monthly progressreportsDevelopment Programme On-Time-Delivery reportingMaterial preparation for formal meetings and reviewsData analysis and support of Development Programme metric measurement and KPIsGenerate:Appropriate KPIs & Metrics to support operation of the DevelopmentProgramme Management teamOngoing management of supporting metrics for the Development Programme team reporting including, but not limited to, the following:Engineering Management Control TowerCoordinating across multi discipline functions both internal andexternal to Collins AerospaceImproving the existing Development Programme administrative processes within the teamEducation and ExperienceONC/HNC (or equivalent) with an good engineering content/biasPrior and relevant experience within an engineering environmentKeySkillsAbility to conduct data collection using various methodsAbility to analyse and interpret data from various sourcesProficiency in MS Office tools, with exceptional knowledge of Word, Excel, Project and PowerPointGood organisation and communication skillsCapacityto manage several tasks or requests simultaneously.Ability to work collaboratively within a large teamAbility to work independently and prioritise workload when requiredDesirable SkillsWorking knowledge of SharePointKnowledge of project and task managementtoolsIn addition to a competitive salary, we offer a a suite of benchmark benefits including membership of BUPA, Annual Leave Buy/Sell, Employee and Family Assistance Programme, employee discounts, and much more, all working within a culture based on positiveassumptions in an exceptionally safe, clean and modern working environment.
